Will You Go to Prom with Me?
Like, OMG, who wants to go to Prom with me? I know Amanda would go if she was in town. Pierce, would Fowler like to fly in and date me for an evening of Twilight fun?
I have just gotten through the physical torture of not having any Twilight to read, delving into a new, not-at-all-teen-horror-romance-genre-ey (it's a word, because i just made it a word) novel, On Agate Hill, which, by the way, is really well-written and quite the page-turner at the same time.
But, really, it's just a case of me biding my time until the new book comes out. Kind of like when you really like that one guy, but he moved, or he isn't into you, so you date that other, really nice guy in the meantime, but you know that you were never really that into him. Hypothetically. Not that I ever really did that for, like . . . years. The funny part is that if I wasn't so Twilight-obsessed, I would be really, really jazzed [stef] about this other book.
I so wish I could fit into my old dalmation prom dress. . . that would be perfect. (Okay, haven't found the dalmation dress, so shiny 10th Grade Homecoming number will have to do for our purposes.)

ha! Did we go to red lobster together for homecoming? I honestly can't remember us eating anything. Oh, wait! Natalie or Camille will remember. We all had that group pic taken. Which i must go scan in now.
You were one of my better dance dates over the years. Didn't care about making the moves. Ditched me at a party to go somewhere else and didn't care if i didn't come with and instead stayed in one place and got drunk. Good date.
I think that dress is flamable. Not sure that is safe to wear.
Is this the homecoming I went to with John? I think we ate at Nicholi's Roof. But I don't remember else being with us. I know we ate there togther and I was all fancy and I think that is the only dance we went together. I also remember I ordered Russian Tea and I was shocked they served it to me with vodka and John got really exicted about it and had me order more so he could drink them.
Dress definitely flammable and misleading. This post was about prom and i was looking for the pic of my sr prom dress - black and white, like dead dalmations. Cruella and all. This dress was for 10th grade homecoming, which i went to with David farrell, because Lindara had broken up with him and neither of us had anyone to go with. Then Scott posted, and I remembered that sr. year, he and i went to homecoming together. Completely different dress. That one, I will have to post separately, but there is a funny picture of me getting dressed. Dress is not funny, but we call it the French Hooker picture in my family. . .
Nikolai's doesn't sound right, but what do i know? Scott?
Oh, it's on now. I went looking for the homecoming picture with all of us in it. Unfortunately, i came across all this OTHER crazy stuff.
Let's just say that I am drinking bud light out of an RHS Prom champagne glass right now.
And yes, I will now be outed as the worst pack rat EVAH.
I didn't go to Sr. Prom. I went to all the Homecoming dances though and to prom Jr. year.
I was dating Ross C senior year around prom and I told him we weren't going. I thought Prom was so gay and wasn't buying in to it again. I went my Jr year and was annoyed about everything about prom but the dress. Honestly, the only thing I ever liked about the dances was getting my parents to buy me a new fancy dress. One of the reasons I didn't join a sority was because I couldn't deal with the prospect of any more stupid dances.
Now post them pictures beotch.

Pool tomorrow - I'm out. Renovating bathroom and just want to finish. Camille and I are doing trivia tomorrow night, though! Come out!

Lee, you know mom and dad were both puffing away on cigs at the bottom of the stairs.Also, yes, Natalie liked to stain the virtues of little nice boys. :-)
